LOCATION: Last night at AirB&B cabin outside of Duluth
WEATHER: Spotty rain. Cool. High 55
One of Alexis’s friends came with her dog, Sitka, to stay the day and overnight. The 3 “young people” did their thing while George and I hung around the cabin relaxing.
They took walks around here, enjoying the foliage.

And, they tried one of the kayaks. Sitka wanted to go, too!

Then, they went back to Jay Cooke State Park for hikes, and into Duluth to a microbrewery called Ursa Minor.
While they were away, George made some popcorn in an old-fashioned popcorn popper – the kind you heat up over the stove and crank while the corn is popping.

DINNER: Shrimp & grits. Risotto. Great conversation and food in the cozy cabin.
